METCALF LEADERSHIP

Bryce Clutts serves as Metcalf Builder’s President, Chief Executive Officer providing executive leadership of Metcalf’s mission. He began his career as a laborer and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and progressed from project management, site operations, and executive leadership over his more than 30-year career.

Before joining Metcalf, Clutts held prominent roles in the construction industry. As the President and a Principal of DC Building Group (formerly Danoski Clutts Building Group) from 2002 to 2017, he led the operations of the company executing projects across the country for several Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, from 1995 to 2002, he worked at Carson Construction, a division of Taylor Ball Corp., progressing from a project engineer to Division Operations Manager for one of ENR’s Top 100 construction companies.

Bryce joined Metcalf Builders in 2018 and became the managing partner in 2020. During his tenure, Metcalf has become one of the largest general contractors in the region. Bryce continues to be the stewardship of the Metcalf culture, mission, and core values, He has prided himself on delivering safe projects that exceed their clients’ expectations.

Bryce Serves Clutts is an active leader in Nevada’s construction, development, and economic development communities. He has served as a board member for organizations including the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN), NAIOP of Northern Nevada, and the Associated General Contractors of Nevada, and has been affiliated with the Northern Nevada Development Authority and Vistage for over a decade.

Clutts currently serves his second term as a Planning Commissioner for Douglas County and is a member of the Nevada State Contractors Board Commission on Construction Education, appointed by Governor Joe Lombardo. He has also served on the Executive Board of the Douglas County Business Council and previously chaired the Nevada State Public Works Board.

A recognized industry leader, Clutts is the only two-time Past President of the Nevada Contractors Association and was named Contractor of the Year in 2010. He also received NAIOP Southern Nevada’s Contractor of the Year honors in 2013 and 2017.

Although Bryce has accomplished multiple milestones in his professional career, he shares that the most important part of his life is his wife, Tonya, whom he has been married to for 30 years, and their four children, and daughter-in-law.
