The Food Bank of Northern Nevada provides food for families through the northern Nevada communities and the eastern slope of the Sierra in California and direct service programs. We serve more than 155,000 people every month, almost half of whom are children and seniors. Metcalf Builders is a proud 5k for 5 years member.

ORGANIZATION
Austin’s House provides emergency shelter and compassionate care for children in Northern Nevada who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, giving a stable environment through physical and emotional support.
Navy Seal
FOUNDATION
The Navy SEAL Foundation provides critical support for the warriors, veterans, and families of Naval Special Warfare. They provide a comprehensive set of over 30 essential programs for SEALs, SWCCs, veterans, and their families.
Domestic Violence
RESOURCE CENTER
The Domestic Violence Resource Center (formerly the Committee to Aid Abused Women) provides free services for people experiencing family violence. Our mission is to, “Rebuild safe and hopeful lives for victims of family violence.” Metcalf Builders is their builder for their new location.
Nevada Bighorns Unlimited
ORGANIZATION
Protects and enhances Nevada’s wildlife resources for sportsmen, outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts, and future generations. After the almost total extinction of bighorn sheep in the state, NBU has been instrumental in the reintroduction of all three species of bighorn.
Ducks Unlimited
CONSERVATION
Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
Rocky Mountain Elk
FOUNDATION
RMEF and its partners provide financial support to carry out prescribed burning, forest thinning, noxious weed treatments, the establishment of wildlife water developments and other projects to enhance elk habitat. Additionally, RMEF provides grants for wildlife management and research.
Mule Deer Foundation
FOUNDATION
The Mule Deer Foundation is the only national conservation organization in North America solely dedicated to the protection, management restoration of mule deer populations and their habitat. Focusing on strategic efforts that support not just mule deer but the broader health of western ecosystems, forests, and wildlife corridors.
