Austin Clutts, Assistant Vice President 

Austin Clutts earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. During his continued involvement with the University’s Athletic Department and business, he cultivated relationships across a wide range of industries that contribute to both his professional growth and leadership development.

Austin currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Metcalf Builders, where he works across departments to help drive company initiatives, improve operational excellence, strengthen organizational culture, and develop the next generation of leaders.

Austin has consistently demonstrated a willingness to take on responsibilities beyond his role. His construction background has been instilled at an early age, supporting projects as a temporary laborer during the pandemic. Those experiences grew his interest in commercial real estate and business and shaped his ability to help guide the company’s future growth and strategic direction.

Beyond his role at Metcalf, Austin is actively engaged in the Northern Nevada business and construction community. He serves on the Nevada College of Business Alumni Association Board and the Young Leaders Committee for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. He is also an active member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Construction Leadership Council and NAIOP’s Developing Leaders Committee. Austin was selected as one of only sixteen participants in NAIOP’s year-long Developing Leaders Institute, recognizing his leadership potential within the commercial real estate industry. Additionally, he is a University of Nevada, Reno Honors Alumni member and serves as Chair of Metcalf’s Charity Clay Shoot Committee.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, Tayler, and their dog. He is an avid sports fan, enjoys playing golf, and takes pride in representing Metcalf at sponsored tournaments. His time away from the office is focused on family, faith, and enjoying the activities that help him recharge
