Metcalf Builders, a Nevada-based general contractor, has completed the expansion of Sierra Lutheran High School. The project, which broke ground in May 2024, was delivered ahead of schedule and marks a significant milestone for the growing high school community.

The multiphase, 20,000-square-foot expansion increases Sierra Lutheran’s student capacity by 100 and features seven state-of-the-art classrooms, dedicated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning spaces with integrated augmented reality technology, and a fine arts room. A new multipurpose hall—designed for chapel services, performances, and large-format instruction—was also included and is equipped with full audiovisual production capabilities.

Additional enhancements include upgraded collaboration and meeting rooms, as well as expanded faculty support spaces to better serve both students and staff.

“At Metcalf, we take great pride in building projects that leave a lasting, positive impact on the communities we serve,” said Bryce Clutts, President and CEO of Metcalf Builders. “Our partnership with Sierra Lutheran High School was about more than construction—it was about creating a space where faith, learning, and innovation come together to inspire future generations.”
